As part of the lead-up to his upcoming album Legado, renowned singer and pastor Marcos Witt has released a new single in collaboration with the Mexican band Un Corazón, one of the most influential groups in Christian youth music today.
The songs chosen for this new version are part of the history of Spanish-language worship. “Gracias,” first performed in 1996 during the Adoradores Congress at Arena México before more than 16,000 people, became one of the most iconic hymns of Witt’s career. “Tu Fidelidad,” written by Miguel Cassina and performed by Witt at the Adoradores ’93 Congress, has transcended generations, being covered in various languages by multiple artists.
The medley begins with a piano introduction reminiscent of the classic Korg 01/W synthesizer, a signature sound in Witt’s earlier recordings. With string arrangements and the vocal collaboration between Witt and Un Corazón, the new version strikes a deep connection with the spirit of worship.
The members of Un Corazón expressed their admiration for Witt’s lasting influence. Ábrego said Witt “is an example to follow and an inspiration. Many of us dream of reaching his age and having walked this path as he did—and still moving forward.”
Ruli added, “It’s incredible to see how Marcos has evolved in his music without losing his essence in worship. That’s something that inspires me—being able to explore different styles, but always with the same heart behind it all.”
Richards shared a more personal reflection, saying, “Marcos has been present in my family for as long as I can remember. He was close to my grandparents and my parents, and I think he opened many doors so that our family could encourage me and my siblings on this path.”
The song “Gracias / Tu Fidelidad,” performed by Marcos Witt featuring Un Corazón, is now available on all digital platforms under the CanZion label. The official video will premiere on Marcos Witt’s YouTube channel.
